Cambodia Charitable Trust supports young people to continue their education through tertiary study, vocational training, leadership development, and practical support. By helping students move beyond survival and toward opportunity, we are helping create stronger futures for individuals, families, and communities.
Our goal is not only to help children remain in school, but to help create pathways toward long-term independence, employment, and contribution within their communities.
For many students from rural Cambodia, tertiary education would otherwise remain out of reach. Financial hardship, family pressures, transport barriers, and limited opportunities often prevent capable young people from continuing their studies.
Through scholarships, sponsorship, mentoring, accommodation support, bicycles, and practical assistance, CCT helps students take the next step toward their future.

PATHWAYS BEYOND SCHOOL
CCT currently supports university and vocational students studying in a range of fields including:
- education
- nursing
- accounting
- business
- information technology
- engineering
- agriculture
- community development
Many of these students supported through CCT first entered the programme as vulnerable children attending rural primary schools and are the first in their family to attend university or undertake professional training .
Our support helps students develop confidence, leadership, practical skills, and opportunities for future employment and contribution within their communities. leadership, responsibility, and long-term stability.
BUILDING LEADERS WITHIN COMMUNITIES
We believe sustainable change happens when young people are empowered to contribute back to their own communities.
Many former CCT-supported students now work as:
- teachers
- nurse
- business owners
- community leader
- development workers
- professionals supporting their families and village
Others continue to mentor younger students and support educational development within their local communities.

SUPPORTING WOMEN AND GIRLS,
CCT places strong importance on supporting girls and young women to continue their education and pursue leadership and professional opportunities.
Education creates greater independence, confidence, employment opportunities, and stronger outcomes for women, families, and communities.
Young women supported through CCT are now undertaking tertiary study, vocational training, and professional careers that would previously have been beyond reach.

Educational success is rarely achieved through one-off support. CCT works alongside students, families, and communities over many years — from primary school through to tertiary study, vocational training, and future employment pathways.
