PARTNER WITH US

Partnering to Strengthen Education in Cambodia.

Cambodia Charitable Trust works alongside Cambodian educators, schools and the Ministry of Education to improve educational outcomes through long-term investment in children, teachers and school communities.

Since 2008, we have grown from supporting two rural schools to contributing to wider educational system strengthening across Cambodia.

We partner with organisations seeking meaningful, measurable and sustainable social impact.

Why Organisations Partner With Us

CCT combines direct community support with long-term educational development.

Our work includes:

  • supporting vulnerable students,
  • strengthening schools,
  • developing teachers,
  • and creating pathways into tertiary education and leadership.

This integrated approach enables organisations to contribute to long-term change rather than short-term assistance.

As a New Zealand-founded charitable trust working in close partnership with Cambodian educators and the Ministry of Education, CCT offers partners the opportunity to support credible, relationship-based and high-impact educational initiatives.

Impact at a Glance

Since 2008, CCT has contributed to long-term educational change through direct support, teacher development and educational partnerships.

  • 28 schools supported
  • 76 university graduates
  • 83 students currently in tertiary study
  • 11,000+ students reached annually
  • 113,000+ students supported with learning materials
  • 500+ bicycles distributed
  • 16 Provincial Teacher Training Centres supported
  • Observation Tool adopted by Cambodia’s Ministry of Education

Supporting Systemic Educational Change

CCT increasingly focuses on strengthening the systems surrounding children and young people.

This includes:

  • teacher development,
  • classroom practice,
  • mentoring,
  • school leadership,
  • and educational quality.

In partnership with Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, CCT co-developed the Observation Tool — now formally adopted within Cambodia’s primary education system as a professional development and assessment tool for teachers.

This work reflects our belief that lasting educational change occurs when local educators and institutions are strengthened over time.

Investing in Young Women and Future Leaders

More than 95% of CCT-sponsored students are girls and young women.

All current tertiary students and university graduates supported through CCT are women.

Many are the first in their families to complete secondary school or university study.

Our long-term focus is not only educational access, but the development of capable young women who will contribute to their communities, professions and Cambodia’s future leadership.
