OUR CAMBODIAN TEAM
Our work is led and delivered alongside experienced Cambodian educators, school leaders and community networks working directly within local communities.
CCT works in partnership with Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and local education leaders to support practical, sustainable educational development.
This long-term partnership approach helps ensure programmes remain locally grounded, responsive and sustainable.
Today, CCT’s work increasingly focuses on long-term educational development — supporting schools, teachers, leadership pathways and opportunities for young women across Cambodia.

REBUILDING AFTER THE LOST GENERATION
Cambodia continues to recover from the devastating impact of the Khmer Rouge regime between 1975 and 1979, during which much of the country’s educational and social infrastructure was destroyed.
Teachers, educated professionals and community leaders were specifically targeted, leaving a profound gap in educational capacity that still affects many rural communities today.
Education remains one of the most powerful pathways for rebuilding opportunity, strengthening communities and protecting vulnerable children.
Cultural genocide, starvation, forced labour, torture, summary execution, to approx 3 million people, victims of the Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge regime.
YOUR DONATION IS 100% EFFECTIVE
Donations are directed carefully toward educational programmes and community partnerships in Cambodia, with a strong focus on transparency, stewardship and long-term impact.
Where possible, supplies and services are sourced locally within Cambodia to support local communities and maximise the impact of donor funding.
